SVMENERGY NET LTD

SVMENERGY NET LTD, is a research and innovation company founded in 2020 with the mission to provide custom-tailored software solutions that support participants of the Cypriot Competitive Electricity Market in aligning their operations with key EU Directives (EU) 2019/944 and (EU) 2018/2001.

SVME offers a wide range of services, including consulting, R&D, and Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions. The company currently collaborates with approximately 50% of Cyprus’s independent electricity suppliers, delivering robust, scalable platform solutions that respond to the fast-changing demands of the energy sector.

To meet these demands, SVME has developed in-house, high-performance forecasting tools for energy production and demand. These tools leverage advanced weather prediction models, machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms, as well as numerical weather prediction (NWP) models with statistical post-processing. The extended forecasting capabilities offered by certain NWP models also support the creation of long-term predictions essential for economic analysis and strategic planning of Renewable Energy Source (RES) projects.

Beyond forecasting, SVME has built a fully expandable and functional platform that serves as a comprehensive communication hub. It seamlessly connects users with their energy assets, the market operator, transmission and distribution system operators, and end consumers—who can be invoiced directly through the SVME platform.

This modular, user-friendly solution provides a harmonized environment that integrates all necessary tools, enhancing market sustainability while safeguarding revenues and investments for energy market participants.
